James Lim
Mr. James Lim is the founder of Equitasasia. He has more than a decade of professional experience in 1st and 3rd party debt collection in both domestic and international markets. He is also a finance graduate in RMIT Australia.
As the founder of Equitasasia, James has a proven track record of success in collecting debt for both commercial and consumer accounts.
Prior to the his appointment at Equitasasia, he was also the Managing Partner of Milliken & Craig Pte Ltd and his career began with seven years of service with Dun & Bradstreet Singapore, where he led a team that achieved double-digit growth for his department. His leadership resulted in a 400 per cent increase in performance from 1993 to 1999.
Gavin McIntyre
Gavin is a Singaporean with many years of experience in accounting related sectors. He graduated from Curtin University in Australia with a degree in Accounting and holds the status of non-practicing CPA with CPA Australia. He started his career as an analyst with Dun & Bradstreet in Singapore and later joined two of the Big Four public accounting firms where he rose to the position of Director specializing in the fields of financial and debt restructuring for corporates and individuals.
In that role, he was the project leader to lead restructuring efforts in the aftermath of the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997 and the Dot Com bust in the early 2000s. In the course of his work, he dealt with both lenders and borrowers to come up with Court sanctioned repayment plans in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
For the past 3 years, he has worked as a practice director with a boutique advisory services firm with a strong regional presence in Asia. Prior to that he was holding the position of Chief Financial Officer of a listed company in Singapore for 5 years. In terms of sector knowledge, he has covered high technology, mineral extraction, commodities and manufacturing companies in the span of his 25 year career.
Gavin’s experience has seen him practice his trade in various places in the region and he has a good knowledge of business practices in different jurisdictions notably Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia and Hong Kong China. Aside from Singapore, Gavin has also been lived in Thailand and Australia, and travels regularly to Malaysia and Indonesia where he has conversational functionality of the Indonesian/Malay languages.
